‪Summer Nights at the Bandstand 2020 Postponed - Concerts Rescheduled to 2021.‬

Regular Music today announced that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this years Summer Nights at the Bandstand will not be going ahead this July and August.

Remarkably, however, almost all of the line-up for this years concert series have already commited to playing Summer Nights at the Bandstand in 2021 instead with Suzanne Vega, Belinda Carlisle, Rufus Wainwright, Van Morrison, KT Tunstall, Rick Astley, Richard Hawley, Primal Scream, King Creosote, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Edwyn Collins and Altered Images all signing up to perform next year.

Mark Mackie, director of Regular Music said earlier...

Ever since it became apparent that we would not be able to stage our annual Summer Nights concert series at Kelvingrove Bandstand, we have been working away to reschedule the concerts.

Amazingly, all of the aritsts want to come next year and most have already been able to confirm their shows, with only one still working on their schedules to be with us. The new shows will all be on their equivalent dates next summer.

Were grateful to both the artists, many of whom went out of their way to make this possible, and to the ticketholders for their patience while we did so.

Were confident that well have Yusuf/Cat Stevens as part of the line-up for next year. We havent been able to confirm these shows 100% quite yet and will be in touch with ticket holders for these artists with news as soon as we can.

Tickets for this years concerts are valid for the rescheduled shows in 2021. Refunds including booking fees are available from the point of purchase for those no longer able to attend.
