Riverside Festival rescheduled to 2021

Riverside Festival rescheduled to 2021

The Riverside Festival that takes place annually at the Riverside Museum has been cancelled for 2020 and rescheduled to next year.

The following was announced on social media...

Dear Friends of the Riverside,
We hope you are safe and well. Thanks for your continued support and patience during this difficult period.
Sadly, in light of the ongoing restrictions on events due to Covid 19, The Riverside Festival can no longer take place in 2020.

Back in March when we were first forced to postpone the festival we could have no idea that this situation would continue for such a long time and we have all been waiting eagerly to see how things develop.
Now with only 6 weeks to go we have come to the difficult realisation that it is impossible for us to proceed within the current safety guidelines, including continued social distancing rules. Even with lockdown gradually lifting it’s still apparent that large scale public gatherings like our event are going to remain out of bounds for longer than anyone could have foreseen.

RF21 - The Return : 3 Day Weekend
Like you, we are desperate to get back to doing what we love, and to make up for 2020, RF21 will be a 3 DAY WEEKENDER, over the Bank Holiday, May 28/29/30:

1st headliners announced:
Friday May 28: JAMIE XX + much more
Saturday May 29: DISCLOSURE + much more
Sunday May 30: AMELIE LENS + much more

We are working hard behind the scenes and plan to bring much of this year’s intended lineup along with some tasty new additions. This will be the biggest celebration of life and music that we’ve ever had!

Much love & stay safe,
RF Team
