Red Alert campaign launched to save live events sector

COVID-19 has devastated the live music industry, forcing many live gatherings such as gigs to be postponed to the following year due to lockdown and social distancing rules. As a result of these cancellations, the entire supply chain is at risk of collapsing completely and over 1 million talented people who work in the sector, most who havent worked since March, could be lose their jobs and many venues could go under.

The campaigns objective is to obtain more financial support from the government to help the industry get by these incredibly difficult times, with no live music predicted to go ahead until the Spring of 2021, it is crucial that the voices of the workers must be heard to get the support they require.
