Read More The spring tour of The World of Hans Zimmer – A new Dimension got off to a triumphant start at the completely sold-out O2 Arena in Prague. 12,000 fans enjoyed Hans Zimmer’s brand-new arrangement of his tremendously diverse collection of scores. The newly staged show titled A New Dimension captivated the audience from the very first bar and launched them on a unique musical journey.
The spring tour of Semmel Concerts’ internationally successful production is already as good as sold out, with only a few tickets remaining for the more than 30 dates in 13 countries. The World of Hans Zimmer – A New Dimension is touring across Europe currently until mid-May, followed by a further 25 concerts in fall 2024. By the end of this tour, half a million people will have seen the international hit show.
The predecessor concert tour, The World of Hans Zimmer – A Symphonic Celebration, was first performed live in Germany in 2018 and has since toured the world with unbroken success. In both World of Hans Zimmer concert tours, the composer does not perform live on stage himself but participates as the show’s curator and musical director.
Soundtrack conductor Gavin Greenaway, the long-time trusted friend of the Hollywood composer, is now conjuring the magic of Hans Zimmer’s works live for the audience in 2024, along with some of the most outstanding and renowned soloists from Zimmer’s talent pool and the Odessa Orchestra & Friends. The audience will be able to enjoy stunning visual projections of film sequences along with the music.
