DJ NIGHTS

RAID continues tonight, LEVIT8 at Strathclyde Union takes place tomorrow and HORRORSHOW is on Friday at The Brass Monkey, a great bar in the west end. A quote from the press last week "Craig McGee was luckily on hand to spin classic rocknroll and indie" Evening Times

I will be looking for demos/new releases of band to play in my sets at RAID/listen to in the house/spread word on my newsletter. Get in touch if you have songs for consideration. Email me and I will send over my address.

 Monday 08-03-09

RAID at LA CHEETAH

THE WEEKEND JUST GOT LONGER!

Do you love live music but wonder why nobody seems to dance at gigs

anymore? Do you work at the weekend and dont get the chance to go out

until Monday? Do you avoid the city at weekends because its full of

idiots? Would you like to see live bands on a Monday in a club

environment where not only are you encouraged to dance, its

expected?! If so, welcome to Raid ...

RAID will happen every Monday at La Cheetah Club, Queen St from 11pm -

3am

RAID will feature 2 live bands every week, and resident DJ Craig

McGee.

RAID will charge you £3/£2/£1 with a trade payslip.

RAID will make you dance.

RAID will change your life.

Last week THE VIEW turned up for a number of drinks after their Sold out Stereo show. This weeks info as told by Gary “As always DJ Craig McGee will be spinning the danceable tunes, and furthermore we have 2 of Glasgow’s most exciting live acts for your enjoyment. First up, Mickey 9’s, who are eccentric to say the least, but make music that you can’t help but dance to, and chuck in a rather dazzling Daft Punk medley for good measure. www.myspace.com/mickeynines and if that wasn’t good enough, we have All the Queens Bovine dropping by for a cup of tea too, someone we think has a very big future in electronic music. Head to www.myspace.com/allthequeensbovine to hear some tracks, believe me it barely scratches the surface of this guys material, his live set is phenomenal.”

Get down early on tonight and be ready to bust some moves.

Email song suggestions/ band gig requests  to Gary at [email protected]
and [email protected] for your chance to win free

passes and more!

For all upcoming lineups go to www.myspace.com/raidclub
