The Ray Summers Announce new dates and festivals


Hello hows things?

The Ray Summers are delighted to announce a whole host of new dates including Rockness Festival, Liverpool Sound City, a fundraiser for Maggies Cancer caring centre and a hometown gig in Falkirk amongst others.

After a recent sell outs in Glasgow King Tuts and Edinburgh Sneaky Petes shows in the last month ,The band will take to the stage at Factory FAC251 in Manchester this coming Saturday 24th April. Their set will be followed with DJ sets from Peter Hook (Joy Division / New Order) and Shaun Ryder (Happy Mondays). Friday 30th April sees the band tage to the stage at the infamous West Rocks club night in London

The band will also take to the stage in support of Maggie Cancer Centres with a fundraising gig at Glasgows Captains Rest

Manager Craig McGee lost his dad to cancer 3 and a half years ago and commented by saying "I had heard really good things about the centre when my dad was going through treatment, the staff at Maggies were excellent and helped my family through a really tough time. Im glad to have the band involved and give something back to a great charity."

The band are also about to announce details of a single in time for festival season and news of thier debut album
