This week I have 3 DJ gigs to look forward to I am playing my usual Brass Monkey slot from 8-12 on Friday, then its over to Pinup Nights for their festival and on Sunday I travel south to play Kendal Calling’s house Party!

Friends of mine are covering this slot. This week check out Sam from 45aside Records putting the. From 8-12 every Friday I will be playing a mixture of rock and roll and indie. Tunes from Talking Heads, ACDC, Beatles, Kinks, CCR, Stones, Hendrix, 50s right through to present day
Expect a mixture of old and new indie, rock n roll and electro. Requests welcomed as it’s your night out

Sunday 01-08-10
-Then its to Kendal Calling festival to play the wonderful House Party. There will be beds to jump on, ornaments to break, booze to pilfer, the wardrobes and chests of drawers are loaded up with clothes nthat, theres dresses to put on and therell even be cheese and pineapple on sticks. By day theres the Wii in the living room, you can get a massage in the bedroom, tea and biscuits in the kitchen and The Wasted Little DJs will be doing hair and make up to keep you looking your best. Weve even go a string quartet and our old friend Howard Marks will be stopping by for a special breakfast. By night itll all go a bit more crackers with some of our friends coming along to play their favourite records. Problems with noisy neighbours will be eliminated as well finish each night with a silent disco. Just dont be sick in anyones garden. DJ sets from Bez, Same Teens, Mr. Sushi, Tramp!, Luke Unabomber, Up The Racket, Clique, Jack B, Arlo, 44, Dave Haslam, Liam Quinn, Twisted Wheel, Rich Reason, The Murkage Cartel, Juicy, The Wasted Little DJs, Rick Cee, Good Vibrations, Deep Fried DJ, Dermo, Whitenoisefeedback:distortion and some extra special guests.

Vigo Thieves

Vigo Thieves will be releasing their third single Blood Red on the 2nd of August. This single will be released through Glasgow indie label Soundwave Records.
To celebrate its release we will be holding a single launch night at the Classic Grand in Glasgow on the 30th of July. Tickets will be priced at £5.00 each with support coming from Johnny & The Giro’s + Tragic O’Hara.

SPECTRUM also takes place this weekend and is a perfect warm up for Electric Frog. Check out their pre club in McChuills from 8pm featuring a live set from DEATH BY MISADVENTURE and AYMARD on the decks. After there head across the street to see the wonderful LEIGH MYLES who will be the main act in the club night at Blackfriars. Also DJing will be VIA NASSA, BORG and regulars AYMARD and B-TONE

RAYMOND HACKLAND has went to number 1 in Holland! Amazing news. I have had loads of dealings with Raymond in the past with booking acts he has worked with including Jono and Amy Belle.
