Craig McGee DJ – Summer 2010

After successful residencies started this year at the Brass Monkey in Finniston, Craig has played storming sets at T in the Park, Rockness, Kendal Calling and venues across Manchester including Eurocultured Festival and in the Umbro design HQ as part of their world cup programme.

Aswell as the Major Scottish festivals, gigs in Manchester including venues such as Soundcontrol, Umbro’s Design studio, Apotheca, Joshua Brooks alongside a gig on a farm for Orange Rockcorps it has been a busy summer for McGee

Craig has booked DJS to play at T in the Park the last 3 years and recently in Manchester booked the DJs for all the projects that were part of Orange Rockcorps. He sourced a number of DJs to play at over 40 projects Manchester wide as part of Rockcorps volunteer experience.

Craig has made a return to Glasgow at his Friday night Brass Monkey residency and has also started DJing in the Ivory Hotel aswell as many one off gigs including the Soundhaus and as part of the Pinup Nights Festival at the Flying Duck.

McGee is delighted to be braching out across Scotland to play sets as I have really enjoyed being on the road travelling this year to play loads of sets. It has been a lot of fun and I have heard great things about the Stirling crowd."

Craig believes that his laptop is for checking emails and sticks to CD’s and vinyl! A love of music from the 50’s to present day and growing up in the ‘iTunes generation’ ensures his love of all types of music including indie, rock & roll, electro, chart and pop meaning a very varied playlist in every set.

Previous clients include Celtic Football Club, Strongbow, Red Bull, Umbro, Irn Bru, Topshop, DF Concerts, Orange Rockcorps and many more

Craig has played at Scotlands National Stadium ‘Hampden Park’, Celtic Park, the world famous Barrowlands, Academy, ABC, Buff Club, King Tuts to name a few and many many more across Glasgow, Scotland and the UK.
