Glasgowmusic wishes a Merry Christmas and Some DJ gigs to tell you about!

Hello, how are things?

I am writing to wish you all have a Merry Christmas and a happy new year.

Its been a great year this one with lots of great memories and great occasions. I’ve enjoyed working with some great acts throughout the year (The Ray Summers, Alan Mckim, Louise McVey, Nevada Base, Any Color Black, Vigo Thieves), meeting lots of great people, DJing at a number of festivals including TITP, Rockness and Kendal Calling! I even moved to Manchester for a while!

I am looking forward to 2011 and I will be aiming for the website to be fully up and running soon!

I am also hoping to have the newsletters back to weekly in January so please get your news across to me for then – it goes out to a lot of people!!

One thing left to tell you about and that is that, I have some DJ gigs up and coming over the Christmas period I would love to see you at if you are around.

KINKY INDIE at FUBAR, STIRLING
Weekly Thursdays sees me DJing in the indie room in the FUBAR in Stirling from 11-2. Expect a mixture of indie tunes old and new. A night focusing on the guitar bands that made us want to dance in a club again!


Friday 17-12-10
HORRORSHOW at THE BRASS MONKEY

The Brass Monkey is open until 1AM this Friday! I will be playing a mixture of Rock and Roll, Indie, Electro, Motown and Soul

I will be hosting a pre Christmas party at Brel from 8-12, come celebrate the end of the year with some excellent tunes spanning all eras and some crackers released this year. Nice chilled out vibe!

Its Christmas EVE, when I finish at 1am it will be Christmas, Bring gifts and I will provide the soundtrack! I will be playing a mixture of Rock and Roll, Indie, Electro, Motown and Soul – you will prob want a Christmas number thrown in for good measure too…I might or I might, happy Christmas or Bah humbug 

It’s the warm up for New Years Eve. Line the stomach the night before the big party. A mixture of tunes from throughout the ages and a nice chilled out vibe to go with it!

HOGMANAY HORRORSHOW at THE BRASS MONKEY
I am delighted to let you know I will be playing the Brass Monkey on New Years Eve.

Expect a mixture of sing alongs, Scottish favourites and a various mix of rock n roll, Motown, electro, indie and soul!
FREE ENTRY and It starts at 8. You will be able to turn up on the night however it is adivsed you pre book a place.
