I am pleased to announce I will be part of BBC RADIO 1 in Scotland A&R zone! I will be taking up a monthly position to talk over demos with Ally McCrae on BBC introducing in Scotland! For this I would love to hear your new demos! Send them over via soundcloud, web links etc, let’s be hearing you!

Tonight I am DJing in Glasgow and Dunfermline so if you are out and about in either it would be great to see you.

THE SCOTTISH ALTERNATIVE MUSIC AWARDS or ‘SAMA’S’ are running again this year, it bigger and better than last year and has more categories added. Red Bull and Jagermeister have came onboard as sponsors, so expect some drunken bands claiming their prizes at the end of the night.

SXSW announces first lot of band playing at the festival. Glasgow acts Woodenbox with a Fistful of Fiver, Dam Mantle and Jon from the Fratelli’s and one fifer Steve Mason have been confirmed! Now to get me some money together and a ticket! www.sxsw.com
