Read More www.glasgowmusic.co.uk is proud to announce a series of live stripped back, acoustic and electro shows at the Black Sparrow on Charing Cross on weekly Thursday nights.
The second instalment of this set of shows is this coming Thursday and features 3 excellent acts + a DJ!
Last week was a great show featuring the wonderful finger picking and guitar percussion talents of Johnny Barr. Baldego put on quite the show with loops and bongos adding to the 1 man band. Captain & the Kings crammed themselves into the small space and played beautiful folk tunes that had the crowd loving it. DJ Jay Allan then played some banging electro to send everyone out into the night happy
This week the quality doesn’t stop…I give you…
Visions Of
Normally playing live as a 6 piece band, Visions of will be stripping their set right back to showcase their sonic noises! A band that have influences deep rotted in acts such as the Verve, Mutemath and the boxer Rebellion. I hear some Doves also. I can’t wait to see this stripped back.

Colin hunter
Ayrshire born Colin has been playing honest, personal acoustic guitar music for a number of years. His musical journey has taken him round the highlands with Tragic O’Hara and has also led him to support slots with Tom Hingley and Woomble, Drever & McKusker. A real talent.

Jonathan Sebastian Knight
Drawing comparisons to Jeff Buckley, Zola Jesus and David Byrne amongst others, Jonathan was the brains behind My Cousin I Bid You Farewell who previously have played TITP and supported acts such as Frightened Rabbit and Sleigh Bells. I know Jonathan from when he played in the great Julia Thirteen many years ago!
