Hello, how are you?

Again been a mental few days….trying hard to keep a weekly newsletter coming your way though!

There are some amazing opportunities below for artists; I hope you can all benefit from them!

Chambre69 is opening next Friday July 1st and you are invited (let me know if you are coming along). Brilliant Disguise (A tribute to Bruce Springsteen) www.brilliantdisguise.co.uk will be on around 6pm. Doors are 4pm, there will be some free burgers and hotdogs to some lucky folk there will also be 2 for 1 burgers throughout the night. Good drinks too! I tried the burgers last week and they are sensational. The band is great. A late lounge will follow with the DJs from Piece Together.

I have also just announce The Japanese Popstars (29th July) and ‘an evening with’ The Cuban Brothers (19th August) tickets available from Ticketweb and Tickets Scotland

I am keen to speak to more promoters too about using the venue for live music, club nights, art shows, exhibitions, clothes shops, business meetings. Anything goes. If you are looking for a home then let me know. Please check out www.chambre-69.com

PINUP NIGHTS are looking for bands to play their great event. I have had many great memories of playing and attending Pinups through the years! 29th July is their summer camp (replacing their festival), 25th of August is their Electro tinged takeover night (Heavylight Darkbright) Looking for electro acts. 30th sept sees the Red light night with none other than Frank McAvennie on the decks (honestly!) Carl Barat of the Libertines is on 28th October as guest DJ. They want bands to talk to them about supporting and what not, I recommend you do it!

TRAFFIC CONE RECORDS will be hosting an outdoor festival at a secret location in August / September and are looking for acts of all genres to get involved. Are you a acoustic/folky/world type artist? Woulld you like to feature in a documentary? Fraser is doing a promo/short documentary about the Isle of Eigg, in particular about the work done by volunteers at the sustainable house on the island. The film is a 10/15min promo for IVS (International Voluntary Service) looking at how they send people from all over the world to help take part in projects such as this. Also looking for traditional Celtic music for the Ceilidh scenes. The film will be shown at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August. Email [email protected]
