THE BIG APPLE AWARD FINALISTS have been announced. The top five short listed bands playing their very own gig in renowned Glasgow venue, The Garage’s G2 this Thursday October 13th are Song Of Return, Laki Mera, Finding Albert, Wrongnote and Woodenbox with a Fistful of Fivers. The winning act will be sent to the USA and be showcased to many industry professionals.

TENEMENT TV has launched and it features bands playing acoustic sessions in a vintage styled studio situated in a top floor flat in Glasgows west end. Acts already recorded for TTV are The Imagineers, River 68s, Davey Horne & Sunshine Social, and other acts are confirmed to come up in the coming months. Only one video has been uploaded to the website for the launch and others will be released in the coming weeks. GOGOBOT were invited by Live Nation to take part in the very first ‘Live Connection’ a new live music initiative. It is a showcase of the hottest new bands to emerge on the UK music scene. The band performed 3 tracks from the innovative ‘See Saw Series’ recording an audio and video at the O2 Academy, Islington one of the UK’s leading live venues, as part of the first monthly live session.
