Hows thing’s?

This week is all about the Oxjam Glasgow Takeover taking place this Saturday. There are 40 bands playing and donating their time to the cause of raising money. Full details below

Really enjoyed the Waverley Boat Party on Friday night. I also popped into Niteworks EP Launch at Chambre69 on Saturday night, what a great band they are. You should check out their EP which is a fusion of electro and gaelic

On Halloween Friday 28th BEEF brings Finlands HUORATRON to Glasgow for a live set that will raise the dead. The man behind the massive $$ Troopers and Corporate Occult is headlining this evening of evil electronic madness. Ross Hinton and i am blip will be kicking off proceedings from 11pm. £10 on the door. Fancy dress is optional, attendance is mandatory. LOUISE MCVEY & THE CRACKS IN THE CONCRETE are playing the Threads of sound gig in Stereo 21st of this month with Pumajaw and Finn Le Marinel (Doors 7). Selected live tracks are being recorded and will be released. Also for Glasgow in December they will be playing with Miss The Occupier in The Common Rooms December the 2nd.

HECTOR BIZERK is an outlandish hip-hop duo in its infancy who have just played for award winners at The Official Mobo after party in The Corinthian. You can catch them in the Griffin as part of the Oxjam Glasgow Takeover this Saturday night. Glasgow-based electronica producer MIAOUX MIAOUX has announced a very special gig to preview brand new album material, with a full live band, on November 23rd at The Captains Rest.The band and guest vocalists are: Profisee (exceptional Edinburgh rapper), Paul Carlin (Dananananaykroyd / American Men), Kris Ferguson (Mitchell Museum), Anna Miles (Maple Leaves.)
