How are things?

A mental week that started with a great gig with Fridge Magnets, VSVS and The Machine Room, a series of DJ gigs over Halloween weekend and a much needed day off!

I am looking for bands for a series of gigs get in touch if interested. I am also looking for promoters wanting to put on shows.

Building on current suites in Music Business, Technical Theatre and Performance and Live Events and Promotion new NOS have been proposed for Music Performers and Composers and Music Audio Technologists. Scotland’s leading music scene social night BORN TO BE WIDE, is to host a radio seminar at Edinburgh’s Electric Circus on Thursday 3 November. Stuart Barrie, Capital Radio’s Head of Programming has just been added to the lineup. Other speakers include the BBC’s Michael Douglas [Vic] Galloway, award winning presenter Jim Gellatly, veteran radio plugger Grant Crain and producer of Radio’s Scotland’s Iain Anderson Show, Stewart Cruickshank.
