Still finding mud after T? Good weekend though! I am hoping Wickerman has the sun!


The line-up is beginning to take shape for ASHTON CRAWL. The festival will include Bands, Acoustic acts, DJs and Club nights over 4 venues on Ashton Lane on the weekend of the 21st, 22nd and 23rd September. Hopefully I will be in a position to announce our first bath of acts next week I am very excited about this event and I hope you will be too. The Ashton Crawl is G1s event on Ashton Lane.

- I will be putting on a ‘www.glasgowmusic.co.uk presents’ at the Edinburgh Festival this year at the Ross Open Air Theatre. Bands playing are SEED and JOHNNY BARR with another to be announced in due course.


- MARK COPELAND & THE WOUNDED PIRATES are playing PRESTFEST and heading to support Tommy Reilly on Sunday 5th August. Let me know if you would like tickets for this.

Glasgow based musician Fraser Rowan a.k.a. THE LAVA EXPERIMENTS is featured on the forthcoming solo album from innovative producer dan le sac. (Dan is also one half of dan le sac vs Scroobius Pip - whose first single "Thou Shalt Always Kill" catapulted them into the limelight in 2008. Their debut album Angles reached 31 in the UK album chart).
