Hello how are you?


Apologies it has been a few weeks since my last update as to what is happening in Glasgow’s music scene. It has been a very busy time with the Ashton Weekender and Pivo Pivo. Looking forward to the next few months where there is loads going on all over the city.

THE MARS PATROL are currently working on a new fan-funded E.P.
The bands fans have contributed enough money for them to not only record their new music but to work with Grammy Nominated mixer/producer Tim Palmer. " Tim Palmer has produced and mixed albums for a huge selection artists, from David Bowie and Tears For Fears to Ozzy Osbourne, Goo Goo Dolls and U2.".
The band have a few more days running on their Pledge Music campaign and are now also raising money along the way to give to the charity, Alzheimer Scotland.

On October 21st TRAFFIC CONE RECORDS are curating a secret launch party for a new cafe in the west end including a secret headliner of Scottish Music royal proportions plus can also confirm short sets from the likes of Roberta Pia (Banana Sessions) , The Sensational Alex Salmond Gastric Band , Becci Wallace and Homesick Aldo. There will also be some spoken word from Loki and Jim Monaghan and the bonus of free grub into the bargain.
