Haddow on the Fringe lineup announced.

Haddow Fest are pleased to today announce a series of shows in Edinburgh to coincide with the Edinburgh Festival in August. Under the banner Haddow On The Fringe (see what they did there?), there’ll be eight great shows in seven different Edinburgh venues from 1 to 16 August, with a stellar lineup that sees The Cribs, Alabama 3, Broken Records, Art Brut, Kid Canaveral, Twisted Wheel, Capitals and Greg Pearson all headlining shows in Scotland’s capital.

Hamish Jolly : “With a commitment to focus on our favourite acts and with a strong bias towards focusing on new and up-and-coming and established Scottish talent delighted that we’re able to put on these shows around Europe’s biggest festival. What better than to enjoy the festival and maybe take in some comedy during the day and come to see a great band that evening ?

Really looking forward to these shows – brilliant having The Cribs back after headlining Haddow Fest last year and with Paws will be a heck of a show, the legends that are Alabama 3, Art Brut in their commemorative tenth year, Twisted Wheel coming up from Manchester…and the Scottish acts – Broken Records ahead of their third album , Capitals who are creating quite the buzz already in Edinburgh, Fence’s Kid Canaveral who will be joined onstage by Glasgow’s Cairn String Quartet for a very special one off concert, not to mention Greg Pearson who is quite the singer songwriter. Going to be a really exciting couple of weeks, hope you enjoy the shows as much as I will”.
