Hello, how are you?


My heartfelt condolences as I am sure your own are, are going out to everyone affected by the tragedy at the Clutha Vaults on Friday night. My pal and I watched on in horror as news filtered through as to what had happened. Social media was worrying with lots of people trying to find out what had happened and to find loved ones. Glasgow people stuck together and it really shows the cities great character.
Having put on and watched Esperanza before I know how much of a good time band that they are and seeing such joy turning to despair in a flash is something I cannot comprehend. R.I.P.


There are a number of Clutha Benefit events being organised along with funds being set up. This list is not comprehensive and if you have more to add please send them over and I will add to next weeks news / the site.

Christmas DJ sets
For the next 3 Fridays and on Hogmanay I will be DJing at West Beer Brewery on Glasgow Green from 9pm.

Christmas tunes from Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley and Motown!
Cool tunes from the 50s, 60s, onwards. Quite possibly some chart and party hits and the like once you have all had a few of their lovely Beers and Aperitifs...

The Celtic Connections 2014 FESTIVAL CLUB has been relocated to Walkabout on Renfield Street. It was originally billed to be held in the The Vic within the Glasgow School of Art but the refurbishment of this venue is now not going to be completed in time.
