Hello, how are you?


Todays newsletter falls on the date 11/12/13, it will also be the last this year as I am going on holiday then will lose myself in nights out and FIFA 14. So a massive thank you to all of you for what has been a very fun year. Lots of great music, lots of great shows. Glasgow is a great place to be!


I hope you have enjoyed all the updates keeping you up to date with what is going on. It takes a lot of effort to put the news together every week and its always encouraging when I hear people say good things about what they saw in here.


All thats left to do now is wish you all a very Merry Christmas. I hope you all have a great time and we will be back in the new year.

Christmas DJ sets
For the next 2 Fridays and on Hogmanay I will be DJing at West Beer Brewery on Glasgow Green from 9pm.

Christmas tunes from Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley and Motown!
Cool tunes from the 50s, 60s, onwards. Quite possibly some chart and party hits and the like once you have all had a few of their lovely Beers and Aperitifs...

Tonight at the Garage sees the BIG APPLE AWARDS with the winner getting flown out to New York to play a number of shows. Acts playing – Cairn String Quartet, Fatherson, Garden of Elks, The Holy Ghosts and The LaFontaines.

ONCE GLASGOW is a Creative Music Project as part of David Bells UWS BA (Hons) Commercial Music Degree based on the music from the 2006 Irish music film Once. The project revolves around the underpinning theory of interpretation and he is looking for a number of Scottish-based singer/songwriters to contribute their own renditions of the music from the film.
