We say goodbye to a sun and rain kissed Balado as T in the Park moves on. Did you head along? What were your highlights? Personally I thought The Human League played a blinder and Dont You Want Me?” was quite the fitting send off!

Magners Original Sessions

I have mentioned a couple of times in the bottom part of the newsletter that an announcement from Magners was coming soon. I have booked a number of acts for a UK Tour including dates in London, Edinburgh, Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow.

Acts include: Model Aeroplanes, AMWWF, Plum, Hector Bizerk, Tijuana Bibles, Pixel Fix, Longy, The Tapestry, Vladimir, Bambi, Michael Cassidy, Saint Max & The Fanatics annd many more. You can check out full lineups here:

1 - Commonwealth Games
I am looking for acts for during the Commonwealth games. These are official shows.

Please Read Carefully.

***Acts must be from Glasgow NORTH WEST (Note below*)

***Acts must either be acoustic or stripped back. Small PA System in place.
Cajon / acoustic instruments / dance acts etc.

There is a budget too.

Dates are 26th and 31st July. I have a few already in mind and looking for other suggestions.

4 – The Busk Club

Art on the Street is an event spanning over two weeks, beginning Monday 21st July. Occupying Glasgows Sauchiehall Street, over this fortnight I am hosting a showcase for Busking performances. The Art and Music event is open daily until Sunday 3rd August from 10am – 7pm. In addition to a full day of live music, street vendors shall be selling original artwork, textiles and sculptures. For The Busk Club Stage I have 126 hour long slots to fill with Glasgow based artists, and write to you today with the aim to promote my companys involvement with the event – timed in conjunction with The Commonwealth Games.
