Reading and Leeds Festival headliners The Libertines have announced five intimate shows commencing in Glasgow on September 6th and running until September 11th in Manchester. These shows will be the first club shows the band have played since March 2004. Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday 4th September. To make sure you bag a ticket, pre-order the new Libertines album, Anthems For Doomed Youth, and get access to an exclusive pre-sale starting tomorrow at 10am.

Anthems For Doomed Youth is The Libertines’ third album and their first since 2004.
The Libertines art happening Somewhere Over The Railings opened yesterday for five days at The Dublin Castle, Camden. The week of events feature a new photo exhibition, a Libertines pub quiz, a new documentary by Roger Sargent, playbacks of the new album, exclusive prizes and plenty of surprises.
Also not to be missed is a pop-up Bucket Shop which opened on August 24th in the “Rock ’N’ Roll Rescue” charity shop next door to the Dublin Castle. The store is selling and displaying rare memorabilia, trinkets, treasures and art and is open until September 4th. Every ticket sold and purchase from Somewhere Over The Railings and Bucket Shop will be donated to the “Rock N Roll Rescue” charity. Opening times are 1PM - 9:00PM
