Now for your input. I have noticed a lack of record shops in Glasgow and with Vinyl once again (and rightly so) selling plenty Ive had an idea of setting up one in either the Southside or West End. Although built round a 1000 strong collection, the idea is to have a coffee/cake/cafe/fresh food operation feel to it in a similar way to Siempres take on bikes on Dumbarton Road. There would also be a chance for Musicians and Djs to discuss ideas, with workshops and masterclasses. Also there would be ample decks for anyone wishing to learn or play before they buy with Jazz, Techno, Minimal, Hip Hop amongst many other genres available. I want to see what the local scene think of this. Would it be nice to see a record store in Glasgow again? Would DJs want to come down and hone their craft or teach others? If anyone has any ideas or questions or to contribute their time or resources then id dearly love to hear them so please comment on the Facebook page.

Til next time you handsome lot, enjoy your festivities and play hard and safe over them!!!
