Lewis Capaldi

Lewis Capaldis current single Pointless is Number 1 on the UK radio airplay chart (with previous new song Forget Me at #3) ahead of his sold out UK tour this month.

The man himself will perform the single on The Graham Norton Show tomorrow (Friday 6th January), 10.40pm on BBC1.

Lewis plays Aberdeen P&J Live on 23rd Jan and Glasgow Hydro on the 24th.

Joesef

Joesefs debut album Permanent Damage is released on January 13th and hes announced a special album release party and screening at Platform in Glasgow on Jan 16th to celebrate. Following a screening of a short film featuring Joesefs single videos, he will be in conversation with video director Luis Hindman and comedian Paul Black. DJs t e s t p r e s s provide the vibes. Joesef played the Hydro in Glasgow last month supporting Paolo Nutini, a huge moment for the up-and-coming star: "Candy was the first tune I ever learned on the guitar, the big mans music has been a constant in my life so this was a f*cking buzz. Cheers to Paolo Nutini and crew for being so welcoming, and to Glesga for being the best as usual, my first arena gig man, f*ck sake."

He tours the UK for a series of album release shows this month, at Glasgow Monorail (13th), Edinburgh Assai Store (14th) and Dundee Church with Assai (15th). Christy

Christy releases his new single Without You at midnight TONIGHT through the legendary Decca Records. Its the follow up to his first single with the label, In Denial in November, which gained him his first Radio 1 plays on release.

Christy says of the new track: "Without You is the last goodbye to someone. Realising its finally done and accepting that you wont be able to see them again. I was pretty heartbroken when I wrote this song, I recorded the vocal in one take, very intimate and almost in tears and I think thats what brought a lot of the magic to the song"
