BIOGRAPHY
Bittersweet melodies, mechanical imperfections and a rough yet mellow style of acoustic guitar give way to lyrics that are poetic and cryptic, personal and melancholic. Half Erased - the pseudonym of Scottish singersongwriter Josh Trumble - writes and records intimate, decidedly lowfidelity tracks inspired by the works of Elliott Smith, Nick Drake and Emitt Rhodes. Equal parts recording engineer and musician, there is no hope for glory in the songs of Half Erased; merely adoration for the craft of songwriting and veneration of those who came before.
