The Mary Wallopers "Five Night Stand" at Glasgow Barrowland starts tomorrow.

The Mary Wallopers have announced a massive run of Christmas shows at one of Scotland’s most renowned and loved rock n roll venues.

The band will play five nights at Glasgow's legendary Barrowland ballroom on December 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th & 21st. These gigs follow last years previous massively successful Five Night Stand at Vicar Street in Dublin. Tickets go on sale here on Friday 29th August at 10am: http://www.ticketmaster.co.uk/the-mary-wallopers-tickets/artist/5324484

The Mary Wallopers current single - The Juice - is a rattling, rallying cry for necessary delinquent behaviour dedicated to "all the exhausted people, fed up of all the greedy crooks, who still manage to squeeze a bit of juice out of life." A brand new video for The Juice has gone online today showcasing the band's Andrew Hendy dancing in front of a band meeting in front of Clochafarmore (stone of the great man) on the outskirts of Dundalk. The Mary Wallopers are Andrew Hendy, Charles Hendy, Roisin Barrett, Ken Mooney and Finnian OConnor. Over the last few years, the band have... recorded killer sessions for BBC6 and Radio 2; they've been a massive part of the BBC's Glastonbury iPlayer and radio coverage (2023, 2024); played live on Later with Jools Holland; performed with the reformed Pogues; played packed out gigs all across the UK after selling over 40,000 tickets on their March 2025 tour (which included two sell out nights at the recently reopened Brixton Academy). The Mary Wallopers are currently working on their third long player.
